5 Pleasant Hill, CA Pleasant Hill, CA Part-time Part-time $19 - $21 an hour $19 - $21 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Billing Clerk provides billing support for the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP).
The MSSP Billing Clerk works as a member of the CiA team providing health and social services to frail elders and adults with disabilities to meet CiA's mission to create opportunities where people can learn, grow and age independently with dignity and community.
Essential Duties:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
1.
Fax daily purchase authorizations to appropriate vendors for processing.
Match approved purchase authorizations to vendor invoices during monthly billing period.
Identify and work to resolve billing problems or questions with SCM before submitting to the Financial Services Department.
2.
Review invoices to ensure accuracy; 3.
Enter all invoice information into expense spreadsheets for monthly tracking; 4.
Work closely with vendors to ensure timely submission of invoices and business license/ insurance documentation; 5.
Maintain and update all client and vendor information in spreadsheets and MSSP database; 6.
Generate monthly expense summary report for SCM; 7.
Generate and input monthly and quarterly reporting data; 8.
Input vendors and service providers contact information into faxing database on printer, and update any changes; 9.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
Associate's degree plus two years of experience with Medi-Cal billing preferred, or high school graduate or equivalent plus two years of experience with Medi-Cal billing preferred.
2.
Must have advanced command of Microsoft Office and Excel.
3.
Possess organizational skills and be detail- oriented.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks assigned.
4.
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Good spelling and grammar skills.
Please Note:
Being fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen.
Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.
